Abigail's Underground Dance Company
Abigail McLavy
Abigail's Underground Dance Company was founded by owner/choreographer Abigail McLavy in 2014 when she was only 16 years old. Three dancers approached Abigail and asked her to choreograph a trio for them to compete with; not wanting to enter the routine under "student choreography" She decided to create a studio of her own, which she had originally named Underground Dance Revolution, that the trio could compete under. Since then Abigail has choreographed solos and group routines in various different styles. Now three years later in 2017 the AUDC is getting ready to take its next step and open its very first location.
AUDC is a brand new studio with that being said we have a lot to prove to make our name known in the community. We accept this challenge proudly. With our programs your dancer will be given individual attention on a weekly basis in order to help them reach their personal goals. Abigail's Underground Dance Company is a competitive studio- meaning we expect a lot out of our kids. We strive for making your child the best dancer and overall best person they can be.

About Me:

Hi I'm Abby founder, owner, operator of AUDC. I discovered my passion for dance at the young age of 2 1/2. My mother enrolled me into the only studio that took children that young at the time, Terry Matlock School of Performing Arts, it was there that I trained for 15 years of my life in the styles ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, pom, pointe, kickline, and hip-hop. I knew I wanted to own a studio of my own at 6 years old but no one took me seriously until ten years later in 2014 when I made my dream a reality. My goal is to train kids to be the best they can be and I will not settle for anything less. Dance is and has always been my escape from the world and I can not wait to share that passion with my students.
